We are a West Country based restoration, conservation and renovation company, founded in 2008.
Andy Winter has worked in different aspects of the construction industry for 20 years and held positions such as bricklayer, stone restorer, site supervisor and site manager for a handful of highly respected conservation firms in London & the South West of England since 2001.
nitially, we were based around the Taunton/Ilminster area of Somerset, however we have since moved closer to the historic city of Bath, and the company is now based in an industrial unit just off the A36 near Norton St Phillip in Somerset.
Mighty oaks…; “we have grown, steadily, in the last three years. You could say we are small, but perfectly formed! Paul joined me in 2011 and we have enjoyed working on a number of projects in and around Somerset & Hampshire. We are a tight, focused team of passionate fellows who work well together, offering a wide range of knowledge and skills to each individual project. In addition, we also have a very good network of other quality tradespeople for those other specialist areas i.e. carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electrics etc. “.

Key Beliefs
We have a love and understanding of lime mortars, plasters and renders, and a common sense approach to conserving, restoring and renovating properties. We believe that as much of the original fabric of the structure should remain; it's these very features which have given these structures that character which they still possess today.
Buildings should reflect our personalities by being as individual as we are. The use of natural building products helps to create a unique home, tailored to ones own requirements and tastes, and tailored to the fabric of your building.
Wherever possible we use locally sourced sustainable building materials and local suppliers of British products, helping to reduce travel miles and help support local business economies.
With the ever growing need for us to find ways of reducing our carbon footprint, the use of carbon-neutral and/or carbon-free building materials is a step closer towards that goal.
Based just off the A36 in Somerset we are ideally located to cover Avon, Somerset, Wiltshire, the South and South West of
England
